Rachel Stallworth - Secretary

I am a mom of four beautiful daughters, a wife of 18 years and a compassionate educator of 22 years. “I believe in her students, I believe in teachers. I believe in allowing students to make choices that allow them to be better and believe in themselves and their expectations to achieve.”

I volunteered to serve Girl, Y.E.S.- You’re Equipped to Succeed™ and felt empowered to nurture the relationships that will come.

I was recently awarded the 2022 Gwinnett County Public School District SHINE TEACHER OF THE YEAR Award Presented by Coca-Cola.

LaChanda Durio- Treasurer

LaChanda Durio is a wife and mom who serves as the Girl Y.E.S. Treasurer. Earlier in her career, she worked for almost 10 years in the banking industry. In her various banking roles, she had the opportunity to work directly with customers and discovered her passion for serving others.

Currently, LaChanda is a healthcare Technical Writer who creates Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training documents. She often says that she can’t believe how her writings help others to save lives.

Although she finds her work extremely meaningful, her role as a Girl Scout Leader for the past 18 years has been the most rewarding. In this role, LaChanda loves mentoring, encouraging, and supporting her daughter and other leaders of tomorrow. Her dedication to help young women succeed is why she values being a part of the Girl Y.E.S. foundation.
